PMG Very Fine 30.This sharply printed Type-1 $5 comes from a rare Cattaraugus County bank that reports just two small size notes in addition to nine large. The Conewango Valley National Bank was chartered in December of 1915 and issued $355,950 worth of notes into circulation before liquidating in May of 1934. The bank only issued notes of the $5 denomination. This is the finer of the three small size notes known and it displays dark inks on bright, moderately circulated paper.
