1850 Braided Hair Cent. N-7. Rarity-1. Grellman State-b. MS-64 BN (PCGS).Mottled surfaces display generous olive and faded mint red across both sides. Somewhat frosty in appearance which is related to the later die state described by Grellman as rough and flowlined. Strong mint luster on both sides and very few marks of any kind. Probably from the hoard of State-b coins mentioned by Grellman as largely having significant amounts of faded original mint color. From Heritages sale of February 2015, lot 21025; Gary Hahn.
