Semi-reflective medium brown patina blankets both sides. A few minor toning spots and handling marks in the fields are easily overlooked, ones eye drawn instead to the sharply rendered devices. This iteration of the famous Washington Before Boston medal was struck in the United States Mint from entirely new dies engraved by Charles E. Barber. According to R.W.
