1758 British Victories Medal. Brass, 43 mm. Betts-416, Eimer-662. About Uncirculated.Obv. Armored laureate George II bust l. Rev. Justice, Britannia and Liberty surrounded by names of seven different victories from this first year of Pitts administration including those at Louisbourg, Frontenac and Duquesne in the Americas. Lovely olive brown with generous brassy highlights remaining in the recesses. Glossy and sharp with plenty of original luster remaining and just a couple of tiny surface deposits. This medal is not frequently seen as nice as this one.
