SWEDEN. 2 Daler Plate Money, 1749-FRS. Frederick I. CHOICE VERY FINE.KM-PM71; AAH-239. Dark brown plate with central denomination stamp and four outer date stamps with three full dates and one partial, all with a good degree of legibility. Plate exhibits minor surface porosity, much less than normally encountered from this wreck. Sold with certificate of authenticity stating that piece was recovered from the wreck of the Nicobar (wrecked in 1783), off the south coast of Africa, in March 1987.
