Struck over a Cartagena provisional 2 Reales (Restrepo 136) and coined by the Royalists during the Siege of Cartagena. A pleasing example which appears technically far superior to the assigned grade with minimal surface marks or discernible wear from friction and the slightest instances of original red color that clings the some of the recessed areas surrounding the designs.
