This medal exhibits mark-free obverse fields (a few minor scuffs on the reverse) and pale brassy color.2) Weight: 101.5 gms, 65.5 mm. Silver Medal commemorating the inauguration of the Avenida Diagonal Sur in Buenos Aires, 1913. Obverse: Seated figure, facing left, arm outstretched to indicate a divided road; Reverse: Plaque reading PRESIDENTE DE LA NACION DR ROQUE SAENZ PENA INTENDENTE DE LA CAPITAL DR JOAQUIN S. DE ANCHORENA, sprig behind, AVENIDA DIAGONAL SUD above, details of the orders and inauguration of the avenue engraved below. Well made medal with gray to faintly iridescent toning, surfaces free of significant marks, scratches on edge 10 oclock mentioned for accuracy.
