Obverse: Laureate head of Hadrian right; Reverse: Emperor seated left on platform, extending arm before him, attendant seated right in front, handing distribution to a citizen who is climbing steps of platform, Liberalitas standing left, behind, holding tessera. Despite its apparent past cleaning which have left the surfaces unnaturally bright, a nice piece of ancient propaganda, which demonstrates the generosity and power of the new emperor.
