1898年12月28日威海䘙寄英国修咸顿封, 贴跑差票5分及2分各一枚, 销烟台大圆日戳; 2分票下票角"C P" 误写变体为 "P C" , 封背盖1月2日上海大圆日戳及2月5日英国修咸顿到达戳; 信封面的右边大部份撕下缺失并曾修善, 被撕下部份应贴有蟠龙一角及英国客邮香港十仙票, 用以支付国际邮资; 据知存世只有三封贴上变体为 "P C" 的跑差票实寄封. 源流: 2014年11月Elling O. Eide.Wei-Hai-WeiLocal Courier ServiceThe First IssueCovers1898 (28 Dec.) envelope addressed to Southampton bearing 2c. and 5c. black on red tied by a light strike of Chefoo Dollar dater; the 2c. stamp with the variety P C for C P and bearing, on the reverse, Shanghai Dollar dater (2.1) and Southampton arrival (5.2). A large part of the right side of the front of the envelope is missing and has been repaired, this presumably contained the Chinese and Hong Kong stamps, nevertheless and rare and remarkable cover which was sent by Capt.
