Lot of (2) of "1789" French Lafayette Medals. Bronze. Extremely Fine.Included are: round, 32.3 mm, unsigned, cornucopia and BRONZE impressed on the edge, celebrates Lafayettes accomplishments in both Europe and America; and octagonal, 32.4 mm, by Dumarest, plain edge, crest of the Voluntary Grenadiers on the reverse. Both housed in a custom fitted case, now missing the lining on the interior of the lid and with the cloth hinge no longer attached.
