The site of Botromagno (near Gravina in Puglia) had long been recognized to be Silvium and Calderoni Martini was able to argue convincingly that Silvium was a corruption of an earlier name, Sidion. This single issue known from Sidion has a reverse identical to the Herakles type at Meteolum (HN Italy 797) confirming the likely location of the mint of that issue in the region. (HN Italy, p. 92).
