拍品描述： 民国三年袁世凯像中圆银币。未公开出版。其半身像尤其是鼻子和鬍子，于王春利版中国金银币目录所示的"天津版"和"福建版"不同。推测此枚源于某个不出名的省造币厂。铸打精美，适度磨损，外围深厚包浆。

CHINA. 50 Cents, Year 3 (1914). PCGS VF-35 Gold Shield。L&M-64; K-655; Y-328; WS-0175-1. An interesting variety seemingly unpublished. The bust, particularly the nose and mustache, varies from the "Tientsin type" and "Fukien type" shown in Wang Chun Lis emIllustrated Catalog of Chinese Gold and Silver Coins/em. We speculate that it is from some unknown provincial mint. A well struck example with good honest wear deep peripheral tone。
