拍品描述： 江南省造光绪元宝三分六釐银币，喜敦厂样币，NGC及PCGS评级最高分。极佳GEM品相中甚罕的一枚。齿边，圆圈环绕龙身。喜敦造币厰于1897年接获订单，铸造了一系列六枚试铸样币，含五枚银币和一枚黄铜币，最终获南京造币厂採纳。全套模具和少量样币连同造币设备一併送往南京后，南京造币厂便开始利用该批模具批量生产。此枚喜敦精製样币铸打锐利，光滑闪亮表面，图文如霜，通体淡玫瑰金色光泽。赏心悦目的精品，获PCGS及NGC最高评分，值得专家高价竞投。

VERY RARE in this lofty superb gem quality. Reeded edge. Circle around dragon. Commissioned in 1897, the Heaton mint produced a series of six coins, five silver and one brass, as proposed patterns or trial strikes of the eventual adopted design for the Nanking mint. A full set of dies and a small number of proofs were sent along with the minting equipment after completion. Upon arrival the Nanking mint began production using the supplied dies. Needle sharp strike as would be expected being a Heaton mint proof/specimen displaying smooth flashy surfaces with frosted devices with lovely pale rose and golden patina. A fabulous example, tied for the finest certified at either PCGS or NGC, with a great look; fully worthy of a premium bid from the connoisseur!。
