拍品描述： 三十三年北洋造光绪元宝库平一两银币。三点呈曲綫排列的版别。细节深峻，均匀灰色打底，清新蓝绿色包浆在龙面聚于中心，在背面则散发于边缘。影响分数的因素是部分早期经手痕迹和背面散落的些许划痕，但无损钱币的悦目外观。稀罕，本版别此前我们仅拍卖过两次，拍卖历史均在五年前！光绪年间，清政府曾致力引入以"两"计重的标准单位。此类一两银币原计划与库平七钱二分系列钱币混合流通。新单位银币在推行批准上遭遇了层层阻碍，并未得到广泛接纳。光绪帝驾崩不久，该项币制改革计划便宣告流产，政府转而尝试统一推行全新币制。据估计，北洋一两铸造总数仅约7,000枚，大部分未进入市场流通，且多被召回重熔。时至今日，北洋一两以其经典的设计和稀有的属性而备受推崇。源自台湾资深藏家"Ta Han Collection"之经典旧藏。"大汉藏泉"第131页0273号书中原物。

CHINA. Chihli (Pei Yang). Tael, ND (1907). PCGS EF-45 Gold Shield。L&M-437; Y-74.2; Kann-938; WS-0637; Ta Han-273 (p. 131). Three dots arranged in a curve type. Featuring bold detail with moderate gray tone that serves as a base and overlying blue green coloration that reaches the centers on the dragon side and is mostly confined to the edges on the character side. Light past handling as well as a few scattered marks on the character side determine the grade, but have only a minimal influence on the appearance. RARE, this being only the third example we have handled and the first in the last five years!emAttempts were made during the reign of Emperor Kuang Hsu to introduce a standard Tael coinage. The new Tael coinage was intended to circulate alongside the 7 Mace 2 Candareens units. This coinage was met with mixed approval and never gained wide acceptance. Shortly after the death of the emperor, the project was aborted and replaced with attempts towards producing a unified coinage. Allegedly only about 7,000 Pei Yang Taels were struck; however, most never entered circulation and the majority of the mintage was recalled and melted. Today it is considered one of the classic rarities of Chinese numismatics./em。
