Lot of (2) Friedberg Unlisted (W-Unlisted). ND $5 National Bank Notes. PCGS Currency Extremely Fine 40 and 45. Watermarked Paper Trials.Hessler-Ex1 & Ex2. An unusual and enigmatic pair of paper trials. Thick bond with crinkly, "crepe-like" surfaces. Both are watermarked in the same manner, large outlined 5 center with FIVE across. Above, National Currency/United States in Gothic print. The first is gray and the second tannish. Each is approximately 155mm by 65mm. Supposedly part of the Gavit Estate when he passed in 1874. Lots of guessing, but we have never seen others. Ex-1 graded Extremely Fine 40 with the comments "Edge Tear at Left," back in Extremely Fine 45 with the comments "Small Edge Tears."From Stacks sale of the 52 Collection, Part II, January 25, 2011, lot 3320; Dr. Glenn Jackson Collection; Nascas (a division of R.M.
