Washington, D.C., October 28, 1914." Manuscript signature of Joseph G. Ralph, with his title of Director. A rare instance where a proof presentation was officially released from the B.E.P. Joseph Ralph was a key figure appointed by President Wilson to create the 1914 series of Federal Reserve Notes. Some slight aging is observed but the overall appeal is tremendous.
