Chinkiang Officials Covers 1896 (29 Aug.) small stampless Gunzburg envelope registered to Shanghai, crossed with red crayon and bearing a fine strike of the unframed "registered/no 265 in red and, on the reverse, a fine strike of the Chinkiang c.d.s., Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (30.8) in red and the postmans delivery characters in red crayon. A fine and scarce use of the unframed registered handstamp, unusually without the Paid handstamp. Photo
