上海工部混贴剖开封：1896年11月12日上海Colonies酒店寄驻北京法国大使馆，盖完整上海工部红色框型邮资已付戳，中转天津贴叁分票，并销天津蓝色椭圆中文戳，在封背盖有红色上海工部日戳，11月17日天津海关中转戳及11月18日蓝色北京海关到达日戳. 这是一件最早盖印邮资已付的己知五个混贴小龙票实寄封之一，珍罕可知.。1885-88 Small Dragon Issues，Covers，Internal 3 candareen Rate，Combination with Shanghai Local Post: 1896 (12 Nov.) opened-out Hotel les Colonies envelope to the French Legation in Peking bearing a good strike of Shanghai Local Post boxed "<H>paid"， (type SP-VI) struck in bright red for transit to Tientsin, with 3ca. mauve tied by Tientsin seal type X struck in blue and, on the reverse, Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. in bright red, Customs Tientsin (17.11) and Customs Peking (18.11) c.d.s. in blue; the reverse has been slightly trimmed at top. A clean and fine cover and believed to be the earliest use of the Paid handstamp and thought to be one of only five covers used in combination with the Shanghai Paid handstamp. Photo
