RUSSIA. Order of Saint Stanislas Second Class Neck Badge, ND (Established 1765). EXTREMELY FINE.48.6 mm. Werlich-1103; Vernon-82. Gold rimmed red enamel eight-pointed cross, each point with a gold-tipped ball. Between each arm is a gold Russian Imperial Eagle. The white central medallion displays the monogram of St. Stanislaus. The suspension ring bears a right-facing head and the gold fineness mark of "56". Additional hallmarks on the reverse of the cross are "BA" and "EDVARD". Suspended from a 260 mm neck ribbon and housed in a red leatherette box with an Imperial Eagle and the title of the award gold stamped onto the hinged top.
