Pattern Proofs.A group that originally sold in the American Bank Note Company Archive Sale at Christies, this lot contains a grouping of unreleased Pattern Proofs from a Bank that never issued notes. Included in this group are patterns for the following denominations mounted onto thick cardboard. A front and back example for the 25 and 50 Centavos denominations, a face example of the 1 Peso, a front and back example for the 10 Pesos note, and a back example of the 20 and 50 Pesos. Included with this lot of 9, is a few pages of internal memos between officials discussing the progress of the bank, including a simple memo dated Nov. 8th, 1884 that simply states "Uruguayan Bank situation undecided."Ex: Christies ABNC Archives Sale.
