COLOMBIA. Republica de Colombia. 5 Pesos Oro. July 20, 1915. P-323. PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ.An exceptional issued example of the third denomination in this series. There were 1,000,000 notes printed in July 1915. Orange multi-color tint and orange back. Notes of this type were overprinted later on the backs creating the undated 1931 "Plata" P-381 type. Much superior to the note in the Ward Collection that sold in the June 2017 Lyn Knight auction for over $1,500. This note has all the eye appeal of a Choice Uncirculated piece at first glance. It will likely not require an upgrade. Conservatively estimated compared to its superior state of preservation.PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ.From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Paper Money.
