Tape Repairs.(BA-7b) In 1826, Congress changed the name of the name of the issuing bank from Banco de Buenos Aires to Banco Nacional. A square (cuadrado) one-peso note was issued with CAJA DE at the lower left corner. To control where the notes would be released for circulation, three different locations were added:<p>-P. O. for Provincia Oriental (Uruguay)<p>-B. A. for Buenos Aires. The B.A. was handwritten until the printed notes were available. The handwritten notes were than replaced with the printed ones. The handwritten notes are much scarcer than the printed ones<p>-Left blank (for circulation outside of Buenos Aires)<p><p>PMG mentions a tape repairs on the note, but it is otherwise in spectacular condition for the age and type.PMG Fine 15 Net.
