拍品描述： 1892 Stefano Johnson Medal. Two Separate Shells. Each 102 mm. As Eglit 106, Rulau B-8. Extremely Fine.Normally produced as a finished medal made from two joined electrotype shells. This piece either disassembled, or perhaps never assembled and just the two copper shells. There is no evidence of any metal or cement that might at one time have held the two pieces together. The "insides" show a rough intaglio copy of the finely rendered "outsides" of the medal. Unusual!
