1783 Nova Constellatio Copper. Crosby 3-C, W-1875. Rarity-3. CONSTELATIO, Blunt Rays. VF-20, Scratched.120.18 grains. This is a considerably attractive specimen with glossy surfaces and just a trace of microgranularity under inspection. Rich mahogany color dominates the obverse while the reverse shows predominantly chocolate brown shades. Well defined and nicely centered on each side. A few old pinscratches are visible within the wreath on the reverse though these are difficult to find without magnification.From the Cohasco Collection of Colonials formed by Sir Philip H.
