1935美国100元国库债券 极美
United States of America. March 15, 1935. $100 2-7/8% Treasury Bond of 1955-1960. Issued. Very Fine.Registered bonds from these particular acts between the wars were also issued directly to individuals. They are much rarer than bearer bonds that sometimes have surfaced from archives. Most were redeemed by their purchasers and they could be transferred. That allowed these instruments to be collateral or act in the form of cash when needed. Engraved and printed by the BEP. These registered bonds were interesting as they were meant to fold up to the same size as coupon bonds issued concurrently and had panel engravings on the back. 16.0cm by 22.5cm. Face style similar to the coupon bonds, with green sunburst across bottom of bond with green Great Seal of the United States. Jackson top center, bond type to left. Red Treasury Seal. Engraved signature of Morgenthau. Orange back with transfer form. Embossed Treasury Seal. No. 2818J. Some soiling and folds. Small ink blot on back title panel. Strong colors. Penciled back pedigree. A bright example of a not often encountered type.privately via client of Richard Saunders.
