All devices are boldly outlined, and the rims are distinct from the peripheral design elements. One of the undisputed key date issues in the long running Liberty Seated half dollar series of 1839 to 1891, survivors of the 59,000-piece 1874-CC mintage are scarce to rare in all grades.
