拍品描述： 1776 (ca. 1860) George Hampden Lovett Equestrian Die / Valley Forge Headquarters Medal. Copper. 32 mm. Musante GW-285, Baker-175A. MS-63 BN (PCGS).Original autumn-brown patina blankets both sides of this sharply struck, satiny example. The obverse (equestrian side) does retain faint remnants of pinkish-rose color along the upper border. A few minor, easily overlooked blemishes in the fields are all that stand between this lovely medal and an even higher Choice Mint State rating.From the Ralph A. Edson Collection.
