AU Details--Bent (NGC).Looped for suspension. <strong>Obv:</strong> Allegorical seated figure with Exposition building in background, central tablet inscribed with recipients name FERDINAND W. PECK and inscription below IN DANKBARER ERINNERUNG. <strong>Rev:</strong> Crowned German eagle with inscriptions COLUMBISCHE WELTAUSSTELLUNG / IN CHICAGO 1893 above and DEUTSCHE ABTHEILUNG below. Bright gold on the obverse with a more reserved, yet also more original honey-rose reverse. The obverse lightly cleaned with evidence for a minor bend along the upper left border. An interesting Columbian Exposition type, an example of which we have not handled before.
