Islamic - Early Pre-Reform. ARAB-SASANIAN: Anonymous, AE pashiz (1.11g), GALWM (Jahrum), A-45Jvar, standing Sasanian obverse of Khusro II, in his name, with Pahlavi APD in ObQ2 // fire-altar, mint name right, possible date to left (perhaps poorly engraved bism Allah ?), VF, RRR. It remains uncertain whether this is purely Sasanian or Arab-Sasanian, in any case extremely rare. Jahrom was not an active mint prior to the Arab-Sasanian period.
