Ancients. SASANIAN KINGDOM: Shapur I, 241-272, AV dinar (7.27g), G-21var, SNS type IIc/2b (style-P), standard obverse bust right // fire-altar, flanked by two attendants, each holding long spear and crowned with mural crown backed by korymbos, not assigned to a specific mint, choice VF, RRR. SNS assigned this type IIc/2b to a single silver drachm (SNS-A66), and type IIc/2a, the only other version with the korymbos on the attendants (SNS-246 & A62-A65), assigned to the silver drachm and one copper coin. This is possibly the first known example in gold. Not from the recent hoard.
