Fr. 2001-E*. 1928A $10 Federal Reserve Star Note. Richmond. PCGS Currency Choice About New 55.A monumental offering for the small-size replacement note collector as we believe this to be the first public auction appearance for the catalog number. Track and Price currently shows no census information for this Richmond replacement and the major grading services, both PMG and PCGS Currency only contain this example. There is a single serial number in the Standard Guide to Small-Size U.S. Paper Money by Schwartz, Lindquist of E00074456 in their "low," number column although we cannot confirm the whereabouts of that piece, nor any additional information. The note itself is a very attractive lightly circulated piece with nice centering problem free paper for the assigned grade. Our estimate is purely speculative and we would not be surprised to see spirited bidding when this item crosses the auction block.
