China Ancient sycee; Qing Dynasty: cica 1750, 10 Teal gold bar from the Nanking shipwreck, cast as a bar with double gourd containing 2 characters at center and one character(meaning treasure) at either end, reverse 2 same characters stamped twice, weighs 365gms. Over 100,000 peices of porcelains and others were savaged from the wreck and only 106 peices of this similar 10 Taels rectangular gold bars from this historical shipwreck. Sold in original auctioneers oak box and original label No. "77" together with the book about the shipwrick items, extremely fine condition.(1) Ex.
