SWITZERLAND. 5 Franc, 1895-B. NGC SP-66.Dav-392; KM-34; HMZ-1198g. An incredible rarity, not only highly elusive as a date, but quite possibly entirely unique in this elevated Specimen condition. Obviously carefully preserved, the fully prooflike surfaces display an enchanting mixture of rainbow-hued tone, with gold and mauve coloration dominating the obverse centers and blue, yellow and lime-green tone accenting the edges. The reverse, similarly splendid, showcases mostly copper gold with instances of bright white reflectivity in the fields. A couple ticks on Helveticas cheek prevent an even loftier grade. A true showpiece for the collector of crown-sized issues!NGC SP-66.
