The set includes a red leather case labeled "SPECIMEN COINS 1911" inscribed around a crown. Each of the silver issues exhibits an attractive iridescence that is more striking on the larger denominations, with grey smokey undertones. When placed together they form a pleasing continuity of color, and all display the bold strike and mirrored fields one would expect from such a finely graded set. The four gold issues are a perfectly matched exhibiting hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo obverse busts with nary a hint of toning.
