A scarce pairing of front and back specimens of a rare 1928 design from the USSR State Bank. The Face specimen of the design is free of any color with the exception of the red overprints and one of the serial numbers. It is found in a PCGS New 62 Apparent, with comments of Perforated Cancelled, Minor Hinge Remnant on Back Holder. The Back specimen has color into the design, with a brown green and blue guilloche pattern throughout the design, and around the obligations. A red overprint is seen just above the date. It is found in a PCGS About New 53 Apparent Perforated Cancelled, Minor Hinge Remnant on Back holder.PCGS Mixed Grades.
