This lot consists of a large group of WWI Interim Emergency Banknotes from German East Africa, printed in Dar es Salaam. These pieces were printed locally as the naval blockade caused a lack of provisions. This group we call VF to AU though most pieces dont really have the technical folds those grades would warrant, we just want to be conservative. We therefore request thorough inspection of this lot.
