An emergency issue, this "with dot" variety was actually struck in 1937 after Edward VIIIs abdication created a need to produce new dies with the bust of George VI. This example, very nice for the type, is sharply struck with frosty luster and light peripheral toning. Scarcely offered in a finer state.PCGS MS-63 Secure Holder.
