VF Details--Damage (PCGS).Rather nicely toned in slightly mottled olive-charcoal patina, this well balanced VF displays uniformly bold definition throughout the design. The PCGS qualifier concerns a few unfortunate digs over and around Libertys portrait, as well as a tiny edge disturbance at 12 oclock on the reverse. The brevity and conditionally challenging nature of the Flowing Hair half dime series adds to the desirability of this more affordable 1795 for budget minded type purposes.
