1893 Indian Cent. MS-66 RD (PCGS).Vivid rose-red surfaces are enhanced by sharply to fully struck surfaces and intense mint luster. This exceptional survivor from a mintage of 46,640,000 circulation strikes likely owes its existence to the discovery of a high quality roll. The 1893 is the most readily available Indian cent from the 1889 to 1893 era in the finest Mint State grades. But, in an absolute sense, and as certified population data makes clear, this issue is scarce at the present level of preservation and rare any finer.PCGS Population: 34; 6 finer in this category (MS-67 RD finest). From the Beasley Collection.
