China - Medals,CHINA: Masonic AV medal, 1930, 28.3 dwt (1.415 troy ounce) 10K gold medal with PEKING CHINA at top hanger, purple ribbon below, 52mm medal with PAST PERCENPTOR above on ribbon, K/H and J.B.M at bottom, double headed eagle in silver atop large Maltese cross, with two smaller crosses lower right and left , 32° K.C.C.H. / FRANKLIN CHARLES FETTÉ / PAST COMMANDER / 1929-30 / HOU TE COUNCIL / OF KADOSH / PEKING CHINA all hand engraved on reverse, with BRAXMAR / NY on reverse of hanger, EF, RR. Made by the firm of Charles George Braxmar, jewelers based in New York City. In 1879 he founded a business making badges for fire, police and fraternal organizations. Incorporated in March 1914, the C. G. Braxmar Company became one of the principle supplier of such emblems throughout the northeast and eventually the country.
