A scarce early TDLR produced design type and just one of a very few we have handled in our lengthy history. A tears, and stains, along with an annotation which are all mentioned by PMG, but otherwise sound for the grade. We anticipate spirited bidding on this very rare piece, as the finest we have offered prior was just in Fine condition, and was the 1900 date and not the elusive 1898 date that is this one.
