江南省造光绪元宝十文，错版。十分稀罕，趣味错体。两块坯饼在铸造时同时叠于铸模中间，因此各只有一面面向铸模，由是铸出两枚单面币。背面可见久前剐蹭痕迹，因此获"Details"评级，但仍不失为佳品，表面散发朱古力色，十分诱人。定能为藏家的集藏添彩。

CHINA. Kiangnan. 10 Cash Uniface Mint Error, ND (ca. 1906). NGC MINT ERROR VF Details--Scratches.cf.CL-KN.52(for basic type); Duan-0497 (for basic type); cf.CCC-209 (for basic type); W-Unlisted(Die # 10); cf.Y-A140 (for basic type). VERY RARE and a very interesting error. This type of error is caused when two planchets are fed in between the dies at the same time and subsequently struck at the same time. Since only one side of either planchet was exposed to the dies the inner side of the planchets were left unaffected. Thus creating a uniface striking. Light scratches on the reverse from long ago account for the details designation. Otherwise an attractive example with lovely chocolate surfaces. Sure to add depth to the next collection it enters.
