1785 Connecticut Copper. Miller 3.4-F.2, W-2345. Rarity-2. Mailed Bust Right. VF-30.,142.5 grains. This pleasing mid grade Connecticut copper offers marbled glossy brown and orange-copper patina. The reverse is a bit lighter overall than the obverse. The strike is tight to the lower right obverse and upper right reverse borders, but all devices are clear except for the cap on top of the pole on the latter side. The obverse is overall smooth, while there are minor flan flaws scattered about on the reverse. Both sides are free of significant handling marks. This is certainly an attractive Choice VF for both the type and die pairing.,From the Q. David Bowers Collection. Paper envelope with attribution notation included.,
