The present example displays a bold date with clear evidence of the 4 over 3, full pillars and clear denomination. The reverse displays a nearly complete cross which is just a shade off the flan with full lions and castles and partial date. Struck on a compact flan with bold details. Much like the Provisional 2 Reales 1824/rotated 4 in this sale the reworking and reusing of old dies and punches in not uncommon for this mint and time period.
