KM-4. Faint traces of under assayer "B" can be discerned under the "M". Needle sharp strike with terrific detail in the Ceiba tree clearly defining every leaf and full rays. Gorgeous toning with sunset hues over lustrous surfaces with a nice cartwheel effect. The sole example with this over-assayer variety certified by NGC or PCGS. When compared to other varieties of this date at NGC and PCGS there are no certified MS-63 examples at either service, with two examples at MS-64 (one Proof-like) at NGC (both dated 1842-NG MA). One example is certified by PCGS at MS-65+ (dated 1842/0-NG MA). Very near to the upper echelons of certification with fabulous eye appeal. Worthy of a premium bid. NGC MS-63.
