This is a larger format note than the 1, 2, and 5 Pesos. A striking design with vignettes adapted from the earlier American obsolete note imprints (top center Native American princess engraved by Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson). 5,000 issued notes were authorized in April 1873.
