1820年哥伦比亚1-5比索连体钞 PMG AU 55
This uncut sheet is an item that defies the imagination and is one of the highlights of the Eldorado Collection. It is the only uncut sheet we know from this early and rare series and was treasured by its owners. We are fairly certain it is formerly from the Amon Carter Collection (sold in December 1997 by Spink America).
Each denomination shares a common style, size and layout similar to the obsolete banknotes Maverick engraved for American clients. Central fasces flanked by cornucopia with "BOLIVAR" above. End panels with denominations on intricate lathe works. Noted as previously mounted, but in the selvage and not affecting the notes. This impressive piece projects itself as the true highlight it is. Perhaps it is unique and if so, then it is priceless. PMG About Uncirculated 55. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Paper Money.
