西藏乾隆58年 PCGS AU 55
Lot 1948 TIBET: Qian Long, 1736-1795, AR frac12 sho 402.03g41, year 58 40179341, Cr-71, YZM-47-51, LM-638B, 20.85mm, 24 dots, four groups of six beads on both sides, PCGS graded AU55, RR, ex George Anderson, Wesley Halpert Collections 40Spink Auction New York 11 Dec 2000 Lot 8841. The Sino-Tibetan coins in the name of Qian Long have the following obverse inscription: qian long bao zang 40Tibet money of Qian Long41. The reverse legend is a Tibetan transcription of the Chinese legend and reads: cha n lung pa39u gtsa ng. Aside from the inscription all the coins of the Qian Long and Dao Guang era and most of the issues of the Jia Qing era bear four design elements on both sides which can be interpreted as 34lion39s snout34, stylised clouds or as lingzhi mushrooms 40Ganoderma Lucidum41. Normally Sino-Tibetan coins of the Qian Long, Jia Qing and Dao Guang eras are struck in medal alignment.
