Coushnir Collection. I.S. Coushnir published a short catalog， Chinese Coins Without Currency， of mostly Chinese openwork charms documenting 36 charms and amulets. Published in The China Journal， Vol. XVII， No. 6， December 1932. This medal is listed in Li Hunqing39s 39Qing Dynasty Medals39 Catalogue， page 123. At least two different types of medals are known: one issued in the 1st year of Xuantong reign 40190941 and another type issued in the 2nd year 40191041. Medals were awarded by the last Viceroy of Liangjiang Zhang Renjun who was also put in charge of trade and commerce in the five treaty ports of Nanyang 40a general name used towards the end of the Qing Dynasty for the coastal provinces of Jiangsu， Zhejiang， Fujian and Guangdong41 and held the appointment of 34Nanyang Trade Minister.34 The Production Union was established in the area of Shanghai by Nanyang Main Bureau of Commerce and Industry.Photo size reduced.
