VG Details--Corrosion (NGC).,Dominant orange-brown patina with the brass plug nicely centered over the crown and readily evident. Wear is commensurate with the assigned grade, some of the peripheral devices absent, but the king, harp and crown well outlined on the reverse, same for St. Patrick on the reverse. Portions of the peripheral legends are also discernible, especially on the reverse. Overall rough in texture with scattered surface pitting and, around the reverse periphery, traces of dark verdigris.
